ACOG 2026-3	The Appalachian Council of Governments is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to prepare the 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) Update for the Appalachian region of South Carolina. The 2050 LRTP Update will serve as the region’s comprehensive multimodal transportation planning document and guide transportation investment decisions through the horizon year of 2050. The Plan will identify regional transportation needs, establish investment priorities, support economic competitiveness, improve system safety and resiliency, and ensure compliance with applicable federal and state transportation planning requirements. The Plan update shall address all applicable federal transportation planning requirements including those associated with the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), FAST Act planning provisions still in effect, FHWA and FTA planning guidance, performance-based planning and programming requirements, fiscal constraint requirements, environmental justice considerations, and public participation requirements. The consultant shall work closely with ACOG staff, SCDOT, local governments, transportation providers, freight stakeholders, and the public to develop a coordinated and implementable regional transportation plan.	7/15/26	Open	7/1/26	Details
