Data Request

The Appalachian Council of Governments offers a variety of customized mapping and research services billed at an affordable rate. Demographic and market research is available for a user specified site, geographic area(s), or custom boundaries. Data is sourced from reputable organizations such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics, esri, United States Census Bureau, and the South Carolina departments of Education, Employment & Workforce, Transportation, and Revenue and Taxation. Examples of available services include:

• Preparation of maps showing traffic counts surrounding a client-specified location
• Preparation of maps illustrating a client-specified study area, along with demographic statistics for that area. Radius Reports (i.e.  a 5-, 10- or 15-mile radius surrounding a specific location) and Drive Time Reports (i.e. a 5-, 10- or 15-minute drive times surrounding a specific location) are examples of studies we produce.
• Preparation of reference  maps illustrating client-specified features, such as selected businesses, schools, hospitals, hotels, etc.
